USU has once again been designated as a higher education institution authorized to provide PEKERTI and Applied Approach (AA) training based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 114/B/KPT/2026. The program is coordinated by the USU Directorate of Human Resources as part of efforts to enhance lecturers’ competencies and professionalism.

A total of 68 lecturers from Universitas Sumatera Utara successfully obtained Educator Certificates through the 2026 Lecturer Certification Program (Serdos). This achievement is part of efforts to enhance the professionalism and quality of USU’s academic human resources in supporting excellent, impactful, and globally recognized higher education.
